Become a Lifework Leader Today
Lifework Leadership Class
Lifework Leadership is an eight month course that runs from October through May. Classes include teaching from national thought leaders, case studies with prominent business leaders, literary discussion, practical life application and peer-to-peer discussion facilitated by alumni table coaches. Each class examines the life of Jesus as the best example of leadership and is carefully crafted to engage business leaders on issues that they face in their personal and business lives. Designed for the busy professional, the class includes valuable tools and examples that can be applied in both life and work. Included in the program are a kick-off dinner, two one-day retreats, a celebratory graduation dinner, multiple class socials, and opportunities for one-to-one coaching. The class meets the morning of the first Wednesday each month through lunch. Our base class site is Country Club of Orlando though we do occasionally meet at some other locations as part of particular topics. The tone and environment of the meetings is professional and personal, and friendly and fun. Class size is 30 to 35 individuals that represent a variety of vocations, ages, races, spiritual backgrounds and denominations.
In addition to the monthly meetings, participants will have the opportunity throughout the 8 months to participate in our Lifework Power Lunch Series where you will get to converse with some of Orlando's most interesting and successful leaders in a much smaller group setting with just 3 or 4 of your classmates over lunch.
Tuition for the program is $3,600. Each participant, or their company is responsible to cover their cost. Lifework desires that everyone who should be in the class is able and can work with the participant to schedule payments or by helping to develop scholarship funds to help cover some of the tuition costs.
What Participants Are Saying
"Becoming 'fully alive' can seem more like a fairytale than something that's truly attainable. From speakers, to the curriculum, to the community, it's clear that God has fingerprints all over Lifework. Part of becoming 'fully alive' means that we discover our unique God-given purpose and begin living that out everyday."
“I wondered what was different here from other groups. I found out that we weren’t just looking at the same old ideas of faith and life and work; we were looking at foundational concepts from a different vantage point and considering how we might express that in the reality of life.”
"Participating in Lifework orchestrated a deeper stirring in me to continue dreaming about ways to show up in the world, offering my heart and hands. The class assured me that whether in our homes, lives, careers, or communities we can anticipate God showing us his nearness and tenderness - while shaping us into a beautiful representation of Himself."
"Lifework Leadership has encouraged me to examine and care for my soul often and to remember the calling that God has on my life - to be a leader that leaves a Christ-like legacy at home, work, and in everything I do."
